Easy Contouring/Highlighting Tips

Well.. if you know me personally, you know that I'm a MAC girl ALLLLLL day!! :-) MAC has a new product styling for their already amazing Studio finish concealer, I'm in love. This particular item lives in my make-up bag, it's a full coverage concealer and it gives a flawless finish if blended out correctly.

 This product comes in shades ranging from light to deep dark, and it's everyday wearable to the glommed up weekends. Now, Studio Finish is especially useful when contouring & highlighting your face. Here's an examples:

Every face shape is completely different so knowing your face shape is important so you can get your desired look.

Eyeliner Smudging Woes

Is that a black eye??? When applying your eyeliner be sure to set the liner with the same color eyeshadow to avoid smudging… or you'll have raccoon eyes and that's never cool.

Nothing should be to good for your skin, so I tell all my clients that your skin is your largest organ and you can't just apply anything to it. Let's talk lips!!!

Here's an oldie but goodie...Vaseline! Vaseline is one of those oldest beauty secrets that your grandmother would be privy to. Typically, I'll use this product on the lips of a bride for her big smooch-a-roo! Vaseline not only softens but moisturizes the lips. Try putting it on your lips before you go to bed at night and you'll definitely notice difference when the sun rises. Take my word for it. :-)

Why are your eyeshadows so bright?!

This is one question I get ALL the time, the answer is simple...I use a base. There are several eyeshadow bases on the market, but it's all in how you use and apply the product to get the best results...For the bold bright colors use a white base, to make your colors pop!!
